Clifton Park—Joseph L. Clukey, 90, of Hollandale Lane, died Saturday [25 June] at the Glendale Nursing Home in Glenville.
Mr. Clukey was born in Plattsburgh and lived much of his life in Watervliet and Latham before moving to Clifton Park several years ago.
From 1946 to 1972, he was the owner of Kay-Roy, a drapery hardware wholesale in Watervliet. Mr. Clukey was a communicant of St. Brigid's Church in Watervliet.
Survivors include a son, Peter F. Clukey of Waterford; three daughters, Virginia Hedrick and Patricia Bailey, both of Clifton Park, and Veronica Joan Pugh of Ormond Beach, Fla.; a sister, Harriet Allen of Seattle; his companion, Evelyn McGreevy of Poughkeepsie; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Brigid's Church. Burial will be in Memory's Garden, Colonie. There will be no calling hours. Parker Brothers Memorial Funeral Home, 2013 Broadway, Watervliet, is handling arrangements.
