ABE BRANDT It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Abe Brandt on Sunday, September 17, 2006 at St. Boniface General Hospital. Abe lost a lengthy battle to heart disease at the age of 71. He is survived by his wife Carol; son Jamie; daughter Angela; son-in-law Luis; sisters, Susie (Jacob), Elizabeth, Lena, Annie (Abe), Tina (Pete), Justina (Menno), Elma (Roy); brothers, Jake (Flo) and Henry; brother-in-law Bill (Helen), Arnie (Pat) and sister-in-law Mary. Abe was a man whose zest for life was unsurpassed. He had a strong love for his family and friends and he found strength and comfort in the Lord. Abe will be greatly missed by all those who knew him. On Friday, September 22 there will be a 10:00 a.m. public viewing, a 11:00 a.m. funeral service followed by an interment for immediate and extended family only. Services Springs Church, 595 Lagimodiere. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation. Rock Fontaine, Funeral Director in care of arrangements at 223-2576.
