Professional Football Player. He was a running back for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League from 1982 until 1985. Born Booker Thomas Moore, he was a high school football standout, setting six records at Flint Southwestern Academy in Flint, Michigan. He went on to play collegiate football for the Penn State Nittany Lions from 1977 to 1980 where he rushed for 2,072 yards and 20 touchdowns, and led them to a national championship in the 1979 Sugar Bowl versus Alabama. He was selected in the first round by the Buffalo Bills in the 1981 NFL draft and during his playing career, he appeared in 51 games where he rushed for 420 yards and scored one touchdown, caught 75 passes for 423 yards and scored one touchdown. Following his retirement from football, he became a deputy sheriff for Genesee County, Michigan. He died following a heart attack at the age of 50.
