Franklin "Doc" Kerr, 70, of Rt. 2, Clarkson, died September 8 (1984) in Louisville. / Mr. Kerr was born in Grayson County August 30, 1914, the son of Henry and Delia Hodge Kerr. / He was a retired school bus driver and member of the Sulphur Wells Baptist Church. / Survivors include: three sons, Lester, Hershell and Jimmy Kerr all of Clarkson; six daughters, Olita Goins of Clarkson, Thelma Haas, Anna Faye Burnett, and Emoline Dewitt all of Louisville, Maymie Webb of Leitchfield and Jereline Daugherty of East View; four brothers, Bill, of Clarkson, Chester, Bunk, and Jack Kerr all of Sonora; four sisters, Maybelle Alvey, Elizabeth Haycraft, Gladys and Betty Kerr all of Clarkson; also surviving are 32 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. / Funeral services were held September 11 at the Broadford Baptist Church with Rev. James Haycraft officiating, burial in the Broadford Cemetery.
