Brenda Lou Pearson, 67 of Weatherford, Texas passed away on Tuesday, October 19, 2021.
Visitation will be held on Monday evening, October 25, 2021, from 6 until 8, at the Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 N. Elm Street, in Weatherford. Funeral services celebrating her life will be held on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at 11 A.M. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at East Greenwood Cemetery.
Brenda was born on October 11, 1954, in Weatherford, Texas to Carl Thomas Holmes and Rena Mae Holmes. Brenda loved spending time with her family and her faithful companion Eli and going to concerts with her sisters and friends. Brenda worked many years by her parent's side at the South Main Dairy Queen then went on to be a care giver. Brenda will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, and Bobo.
Brenda is survived by her children Regan Smith, Ryan Smith (Karen), niece Lori Bowen (Brian); her sister Deborah Reeder; brother Thomas Holmes (Cheryl); grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces and nephews; cousins. Stepchildren Terry Pearson Jr (Tracey), Laurie Parker. In-laws Kay Westbrook, Don Pearson, Shelia Cook, Rodney Pearson, Alice Pearson, Sonya Hurst and Clifton Pearson.
Brenda was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Pearson, Brother Billy Holmes, Sister Suzanne Holmes, Brother In-laws Greg Pearson and George Pearson, Nephew Curtis Reeder, and by her parents Carl and Rena Holmes.
