Alicia Kay Griffin Stone, 43 years 4 months and 14 days of age, of Somerset, Kentucky, departed this life at 2:51 p.m. on Tuesday, October 26th, 2021 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky.
Alicia was born in Danville, Kentucky on Monday, June 12th, 1978, daughter of Larry Lee Griffin and Charlotte Nolan Griffin. She was a graduate of Casey County High School. Alicia was baptized on Sunday, July 12th, 2020 by Bro. Darin Lane. Alicia was a homemaker and enjoyed couponing, making canning videos, and playing with her feline pet "Baby". She loved animals of all types from birds to ferrets.
Alicia was survived by one child, Madisyn Kayla "Max" Coffman; her parents, Larry and Charlotte Griffin; one sister, Rhonda (and Clyde) Hammons; two brothers, Johnny (and Jamaica) Griffin and Jeffery (and Kayla) Griffin; her father and mother-in-laws, Joseph and Vickie Stone; a special niece, Hailee (and Ethan) Southerland; two additional nieces, Haley Evans and and Jennifer Wathen; four nephews, Mason Evans, C.J. Hammons, Jason Hammons, and Joseph Wathen; and a host of other family and friends who mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of twelve years, Adam McKinnley Stone, whom she married on September 26th, 2009 and who departed this life three days before her on October 23rd, 2021; and her grandparents, Elzie Griffin, Nancy Griffin, and Arthur and Priscilla Nolan.
Visitations were held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, November 1st, 2021 at the Pulaski Funeral Home in Somerset, Kentucky.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 2nd, 2021 in the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro David Bullock and Darin Lane officiating.
Burial followed in the Tanner Cemetery in Somerset, Kentucky.
