The 180 year old obituary was written in honor of Aaron Davis Grigsby, but with a whopping error made of the first name.

Today I am thrilled to be able to link Arron Davis Grigsby with his parents and 11 siblings. Thank You Vicky for making this possible!

The 1880 Census records Aaron D. Grigsby 33 as maimed, crippled or bedridden residing in the home of his parents in Bates Township, Carroll County Missouri. Also living in the residence are 2 younger brothers: Scott Grigsby 30 and Lewis C. Grigsby 25.

The 1900 Census records Aaron D. Grigsby 58, born May 1842 residing in the rented home of eldest brother, Reuben & Margaret (Hawkins) Grigsby in Fairfield Township, Carroll County, Missouri. Also 8 children are listed in residence. Aaron is listed as being able to read but cannot write.
