Charlotte, North Carolina - Marianne Maloney Casey died peacefully Sunday, October 31, 2021.
She is survived by her devoted son Jackson Palmer, her parents Beth and Ralph Maloney, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, and many, many friends.
Marianne was born in Charlotte. She attended Huntingtowne Farms Elementary School, Charlotte Christian School, and Myers Park High School where she graduated in 1996. She attended Western Carolina University where she earned a B. S. Degree in Communications.
In Marianne's early career, she worked as an event planner and fundraiser for several charitable and philanthropic organizations that helped many people in Florida and the Carolinas. With her outgoing personality and sense of organization, she excelled in these positions. Following the birth of her beloved Jackson, Marianne entered the property restoration and management and the real estate business and ultimately earned her Real Estate License.
Marianne showed bravery and courage for six years as she underwent a number of medical procedures and treatments. The family wishes to thank Oncology Specialists of Charlotte for their devotion and unerring expertise in treating her cancer. In addition, the family wishes to thank Hospice House at Southminster for their compassion and care in comforting Marianne.
Marianne will be remembered for her devotion to Jackson, and for her sincerity, judgment, sense of humor, and her positive attitude toward everything.
It is Marianne's wish that you not send flowers; instead, volunteer for a day, in Marianne's memory, at a charity that helps those less fortunate.
