Peter F. Martin Jr., age 75, of Keshena, passed away on November 2, 2021 at his home. Peter was born on January 5, 1946 in Keshena, to the late Peter F. and Amanda (Long) Martin Sr.. Peter worked as a logger and a security guard for the Menominee Casino for 25 years until retiring. He was united in marriage to Lynette Hannie on November 16, 1979 in Keshena. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and going to the casino.
Peter is survived by his wife Lynette; his children Richard (Erin) Turney Sr., Sherry Turney, and Joseph (Rose) Martin Sr; his grandchildren Richard Jr., Robert, Judy, Taylor, Peyton, Quinn, Yolanda, Samantha, Savanah, Derrick, Zachary, Joseph Jr., Jaylynn, Anthony, Aiden, and Acelyn; his 10 great-grandchildren. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his son Robert; his granddaughter Alizah; his great-grandson Peter Thunder; his sister Charlotte Kinepoway.
Visitation will be held at Swedberg Funeral Home on November 5, 2021 in Shawano from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm for a time of sharing. Swedberg Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
