FRANK ROBERTS DIES AT 85 YEARS
Frank Roberts, a well-known Winterset resident for many years, died Thrusday, Oct. 15, at Memorial hospital here. He was 85 years of age.
Mr. Roberts was born in Lee township, near Booneville, on July 10, 1885, a son of Charles A. and Eliza Evans Roberts. His life was spent in Madison county. As a young man he engaged in farming, but in later years had worked as a painter and carpenter.
He was married to Della Mae Hann, who preceded him in death many years ago.
Mr. Roberts was a member of the United Brethren church.
Nearest surviving relative is a sister, Mrs. Stephen P. Sutton of Glendale, Calif.
Funeral services were held Saturday from the Grace Baptist church in Winterset, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. Glenn Williams. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
