The body of the little seven month old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. D. Costigan of Trinidad was brought to Salida for burial. The remains arrived here Thursday afternoon and interment was made at Fairview on Friday at 10 a. m. The funeral services were held at Trinidad so no services were held here. The little one was a victim of bronchial pneumonia and she passed away on January 4. 1921. Little Geraldine was born May 1920, and is the daughter of D. D. Costigan, a former interne in the Red Cross hospital, while Mrs. Costigan was formerly Miss Stella Spence, who was raised to womanhood here. The body was accompanied to Salida by the parents and also by the grandmother, Mrs. Mary J. Spence, and an uncle, Chas. Spence, and two aunts, Violet and Mildred Spence. The grandfather, J. C. Spence, and an uncle, J. C. Spence, Jr., reside here.
