FUNERAL OF HUBBARD
Colored Man who was burned to death at Lawrenceville to be buried Sunday.
The remains of David Hubbard, the colored man who was burned to death at Lawrenceville last Sunday night, will be interred in the Soldier's Plot, Riverview Cemetery, on Sunday. Hubbard was an honorable discharged member of Company H, Fourteenth Regiment, Rhode Island Volunteers. His discharge papers were burned up with him, but through the efforts of Poulson and Coleman, the records have been duplicated by the Rhode Island military authorities.
