Growing up Tony loved fishing on Lake Erie. He loved motorsports of all kinds and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. Tony always loved to tell a story!
Tony is survived by his mother and stepfather Sandy and Joe Shieff of Chardon; and grandmother, Lillian Shieff of Chardon, his loving wife, Tammy; children, Morgan (Frank), Frankie (Courtney), Anthony (Julia), and Liz (Sarah); stepchildren, David, Kelly and Heather; grandchildren, Savannah, Gianna, Sophia, Noah, Ethan, and Shelbe; brothers, Frank, Gary and Joseph; sisters, Karla, Sandy, Annette, Jeanette and Bobbi; along with cousins; many nieces and nephews; and best friend Chet.
He is preceded in death by his father, Frank Amato; grandparents, Clem and Ada Berendt; and beloved aunt Judy.
He gave in death for those in life. Tony was proud to donate his body for scientific research.
Private memorial service will be held at St. Mary's in Chardon.
