Born August 21, 1953 in Greenville, Miss. he was the son of Edward M SR and Martha M (Pond) Deal Hatter
Mike had lived in Arizona for 21 years until he moved to Portsmouth then Rochester where he had settled for the past 14 years. He grew up in Sharpsville, Pa. and attended Hickory High School. He was employed as a self employed carpenter. He was a member of APA and TAP pool players associations, he was a member of the Bass Fanatics and State Line Bass Anglers. Mike was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He will be sadly missed by his loving family and the many friends, through which he made hunting, bass fishing and playing pool.
Members of his family include his wife of 16 years, Robin (Auger) Deal of Rochester, his sons; Michael Deal and his girlfriend Leticia Silva of Rochester and Edward Deal III and his wife Shannon of Rollinsford, his daughters; Tracy Deal of Albuquerque N.M. and Amanda Deal of Rochester, his mother Martha Hatter of Vienna, Va., his step children; John Mercer of Somersworth and Elizabeth Mercer of Rochester. He has ten grandchildren and one great grandchild, his sister, Vicki Rosado of Fla. He is predeceased by his father Edward Deal Sr.
Flowers are accepted but donation may also be made to the American Diabetes Association or to the National Parkinson's disease Foundations.
Calling hours will be held Friday 2-4 and 6-8 in the chapel of the R.M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 south Main St, Rochester N.H. 03867.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.
