The 2nd child of Judge Samuel Hanson & Elizabeth Story. Mary married first, after 1726, Capt. John Briscoe, the son of John Briscoe and Eleanor Williamson. Capt. John Briscoe dies in February 1742 leaving a will naming wife Mary & children, "Samuel, Eleanor, Elizabeth & "unborn child". (who was named John). Mary's second marriage was about 1749, to Robert Horner, as his first wife. She dies on December 3, 1752 "age 42" & was buried as Mary the wife of Robert Horner in Equality graveyard, Faulkner post office, Charles County, Maryland. She had no Horner children.
