I had also tried to find Frank Knoll's burial place but was unable to do so.
In 1900 & 1905 they were living in Graham county, KS. In 1910 it was Collyer, Trego County KS and in 1915 the family without Frank were in Garden City, KS. See 1915 Kansas census attached. (see attached)
I could not find his burial in the Garden City cemetery which has an online lookup service now.
Also attached is an email response (It said "I have researched the records for Collyer and I don not find any mention of a Franz or Frank Knoll." Thank you, Joleen Schuster, Parish Secretary, 1/7/2021, [email protected]) from the Collyer, KS - St. Michael's Church on whether they had recorded his death in the 1910-1915 time frame.
Also, there is nothing in the St. Peter, KS death records nor the Ellis, St. Mary's death records so I have no clue where he is buried.
His wife Appolonia Gette, survived at least until 1930, where she is living in Chicago with two of her sons, listed as Appolonia Legleiter. One of her son's, Frank Knowl, marries the landlord and they end up in Wisconsin in the 1940 US census without Appolonia.
