The body will lie in state at the Freund Funeral Home until Tuesday morning when it will be taken to Brownsville for services at 4 p.m. at Church of the Advent, Episcopal. Burial will be in Buena Vista Burial Park.
The Rev. Rufus Stewart will officiate.
Mrs. Abbott was born in Atlantic City, Iowa, November 12, 1884, daughter of George B. and Adeline George Swartz. She married Warren Dwight Abbott in Tulsa, Oklahoma, September 11, 1905. He died in 1953.
Survivors are two sons, Warren Dwight Abbott, Jr. of Harvey, Illinois and the Rev. Paul Robert Abbott of Cuero; a brother, Dr. Fred G. Swartz of Traverse City, Michigan; a sister, Mrs. Gail S. Rankin of Brownsville; three grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
In lieu of other remembrances, the family requests memorial contributions to be made to St. Paul Mission School Scholarship Fund in Brownsville.
