Actor. He will be best remembered for his role as 'Nate' a freedman gravedigger for the Federal Union Army in the indie feature film "The Retrieval" (2013). The historical film was directed by Andrew Eska, and also starred Ashton Sanders and Keshon John. He was awarded the SXSW Breakthrough Performance - Special Jury Recognition for Acting for this role in 2013. He will also be best remembered for his role as 'Moses Washington' in the historical western drama television film, "Deliverance Creek" (2014). The historical film was directed by Jon Amiel and also stars Lauren Ambrose, Christopher Backus, and Wes Ramsey, and it tells the story of a widow who resorts to desperate measures to protect her three children and her land during the Civil War. He was born as Tishuan Rondrick Scott in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was educated locally and as a child, he dreamed of pursuing a career in acting. He later attended Captain Shreve High School in Shreveport, Louisiana, and it was here that he pursued his dreams following advice from his English teacher, his fine arts teacher, and his drama teacher. He began appearing in stage productions and then he would eventually go onto win the Louisiana High School State Championship in Dramatic Interpretation which gave him the drive to further pursue acting as his chosen career. He then attended and was educated at the prestigious Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia, under the guidance of the college President Dr. Walter Massey and famed Oprah Winfrey Scholar eventually which led him to work towards his Bachelor of Arts in Drama and Psychology in 2002. He also attended and was educated at the University of California-Los Angeles School of Theater, Film & Television (or UCLA-TFT) in Los Angeles, California, where he was a Lloyd Bridges/MGM Outer Limits Fellow, and where he received his Master of Fine Arts in Acting in 2006. Following his education, he pursued his acting career more thoroughly. He made his actual film debut playing the role of 'Stack' in the short film, "Hurricane Party" (2006). Besides, "Hurricane Party" (2006), "The Retrieval" (2013), and "Deliverance Creek" (2014), his many other film credits include, "Counter Intuitive" (2007), "8 Year Theory" (2009), "Computer Chess" (2013), "Cry Of The Butterfly" (2014), "Results" (2015), "Alcatraz Prison Escape: Deathbed Confession" (2015), "Sweep" (2015), "Jack's Apocalypse" (2015), "Jackdaw" (2015), "Slash" (2016), and "The Test" (2016). His final film role was playing the role of a 'Release Guard' in "Symphony Of The Universe" which was still in post-production at the time of his passing. He was also the founder of the Eye of the Peacock Enterprise Company which focused on film projects of American and World History for both the stage and screen. His promising acting career was cut short when he was killed in a car accident in Houston, Texas, on February 13, 2021, at the age of 41. At the time of his death, he had lived in Houston, Texas, for about ten years. His funeral was held at the Inspire Church in Houston, Texas, and he was buried in Earthman Memory Gardens in Baytown, Texas.
