Caleb Clark Aspinwall passed away at his home on West Main Street Sunday Evening about 7:30 o'clock , following an illness with pleura pneumonia of only a few days duration. Mr. Aspinwall was born in Genesee county , February 4, 1881, the son of Mathew and Martha Aspinwall .
He was married twice; first to Miss Susan Merrihew , then to Mrs. Emeline (Lewis) Aspinwall , the second marriage taking place about five years ago . Besides two children of the three that were born in his first marriage , he is survived, his second wife, a brother , George Aspinwall of Westville, three stepchildren , Mrs. William Cronkhite of Lena and Mrs. Edith Nievel and Clyde Aspinwall of Dundee .
The deceased was a regular attendant of the Methodist church and was a member of the I.O.O.F. and the Otego Valley Rebecca lodge of Hartwick.
Prayer services for the family was held from the house at 1:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon and the funeral services we're conducted in the Methodist church by the Rev. George E. Young, pastor , at 2 p.m. The Odd Fellows had charge of the burial service at Hartwick Cemetery.
