He was "discovered" by David Duncan of Life Magazine, who published a book about Mr. Forss, "New York/New York: Masterworks of a Street Peddler", McGraw-Hill (1984).
He owned and operated Ginofor Gallery in Cambridge, NY for over 30 years, which exhibited and promoted the works and careers of numerous local upstate artists.
