83, of Bradenton passed gently in his sleep on November 6, 2015 after a long battle with cancer. Paul was born on September 4, 1932 in the small town of Alaska, WI. At a young age, his family moved to Manitowoc where he and two of his brothers operated a dairy business. Paul married Jan Smith in 1960. Together they had four children, Steven, Eric, Cindy, and Peter. In 1967, the three Hunsader families moved to Bradenton and formed ''Hunsader Bros. Inc.'', a commercial tomato business, until Paul retired in 1990. During their 55 years of marriage, Paul and Jan traveled extensively all over the world, visiting many beautiful places, making a lifetime of memories. Paul was very instrumental in the renovation of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the addition of the choir room. He sang in the St. Joseph Choir and the Barbershop Quartet for many years. He loved singing. In his later years, he found enjoyment in supplying vegetables to the Soup Kitchen and anyone he met! He was well known in the community for his big heart, generosity, and his constant smile. If you ever needed anything, Paul would find it for you. He also played tennis and table tennis. Paul is survived by his two sisters, Madonna and Lenore; his loving wife, Jan; his children, Steven (Patti), Eric (Tiffany), Cindy (Tom), and Peter. He adored his 10 grandchildren. The family will receive guests in the St. Joseph Chapel at 9:00AM Saturday, Nov 14, 2015. His Memorial Service Celebrating his Life will follow at 10:00AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 3100 26th St. W., Bradenton. Please park in the South parking lot.
