Harold Frank Shoup, Jr. passed away on November 27, 2021. He had been in a long battle with Multiple Myeloma and is finally at peace in Heaven with his wife Ruby Beatrice Shoup (Powers) and many beloved family members.

Harold was born in Emporia, Kansas on December 21, 1941 to Ione and Harold Frank Shoup, Sr. He spoke fondly of his life and many experiences he had which included serving in the Army Reserve as well as the National Guard. He was a Royal Ranger and shared this in common with his late wife Ruby. He worked many jobs over the years which ranged from harvesting corn, hauling hay, taxi driving and doing odd jobs. He had a wonderful voice and loved to sing. He was always involved in church groups and bible camps. Harold never met a stranger. He loved to tease and was often known to sit next to someone just to visit and get them to laugh and smile.

Harold was preceded in death by the following: father - Harold Frank Shoup, Sr.; mother - Ione Shoup (Grimmett); sister - Phyllis Keaver; sister-in-law - Susan Shoup; infant daughter - Ginger; and infant sons - Johnny and Andrew David.

Harold is survived by the following: brother - Robert Shoup; son - Frank Shoup (Ranae); daughter - Brenda Pitts; son - Larry Shoup; son - Steve Shoup (Lorrie); son - Brian Smith; daughter - Elizabeth Robinson (Ronnie); son - Leroy Shoup (Stephanie); daughter - Angel Thoreson; son - Chuck Shoup; he had many grandchildren and great grandchildren who fondly called him G-Pa. He loved spending time with all of them.

Harold's Celebration of Life will be held on December 11, 2021 at 11:00 am at Faith Assembly of God located at 178 Filer Ave West in Twin Falls, ID 83301. He loved this church with all his heart. Pastor Paul Springer and his wife Carol were a tremendous support to Dad and have graciously offered to provide a meal after the services.

There will be another Celebration of Life in North Dakota in June for those who aren't able to make it to this one. Dad, you're going to the family reunion after all! Harold will be laid to rest in the Elmwood Cemetery in Gooding after the memorials in the summer of 2022.
