The following taken from a Norwalk, Connecticut paper has reference to a former resident of Fayette, and a sister of W.C. Bronson of this place:
The funeral of Miss Saleta Bronson, who passed away at her home in Sheehan Avenue Tuesday, Dec. 16, was held Thursday, afternoon at the parlors of David W. Raymond, Rev Andrew F. Chamberlain , pastor of the South Norwalk Methodist Episcopal church, of which the deceased was a member, officiated. Interment was in Riverside cemetery.
Miss Bronson is survived by three sisters, Deborah E. Merriam, of this city, Mary E. Frantz of Roseland, Nebraska, and Dora Waite, of Minnesota, and three brothers, William of Hico, Texas, Walter, of Argyle, Wis., and Dr. C. Wallace Bronson of Alameda, California.
Miss Bronson was born January 12, 1851, at Parkman, Ohio, and moved with her parents to Wisconsin when very young. She taught school in Wisconsin many years coming to reside in Norwalk about twenty years ago. She became affiliated with the Methodist church when a girl and was all her life a devout Christian, one who knew her bible and followed its teachings, finding joy in well doing. Those who loved her mourn her loss, but know that she has gone home to her reward, home to the Great Redeemer.
