Son of Duncan & Mary Kennedy.( nee Butter). Born circa 1816-1818 at Glencoe, Argyllshire, Scotland. Married Margaret Drane ( widow, nee McPhee) on 24th April, 1849, in Congregational Church, Melbourne. Victoria. Australia. Occupation: Shepherd & later a Victorian Railways employee. Shares his unmarked grave with his son, John Kennedy, born 1869 - died 1884.
