Mrs. Elizabeth J. Faurot of 399 Powell Ave., Newburgh, died Friday (Aug. 27, 1965) in St
Luke's Hospital after a long illness.
Born in Cornwall, she was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Wink Cleland. She had lived in Newburgh 46 years and was a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are her husband, Herbert Faurot; two daughters, Alwina Faurot and Josephine, wife of Robert Straitt; one sister, Josephine, wife of Frank J. Stuart, all of Newburgh; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in Toohey Bros. Funeral Chapel, 24 Lander St. Vernon W. Towne will officiate. Interment will be In Willow Dell Cemetery at Cornwall.
