She was born on May 3, 1912, in the village of Osceola, Neb. to George Lester Shore and Ella Shore. She was the youngest of seven children.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John E. Iverson; son, Larry Martin Iverson; daughter, Lee Ella Dobson; and granddaughter, Laura Iverson Alcala.
She is survived by her sons, David (Ann) Iverson of Evans. Ga., and Thomas (Lessie) Iverson of Fort Smith, Ark.; daughters, Janice (Raymond) Walker of Kuna, Idaho, and Jenny (Robert) Rykert of Vallejo; daughter-in-law, Bernadean Iverson of Fairfield; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
She moved to Fairfield in 1951 and was a member of Degree of Pocahontas for over 50 years, Prior member of Crystal Rebekah Lodge #46 and Reams American Legion Auxiliary. She was also a Red Cross volunteer for many years.
She will be buried with her husband, John, in Rockville Cemetery.
