Memorial Site for the victims of the Branch Davidian tragedy. The Branch Davidians, a Christian sect led by David Koresh, lived at Mount Carmel Center Ranch in Elk, Texas. The group was suspected of weapons, a warrant was obtained by the US Federal Agency, also known as ATF. When the ATF attempted to raid the ranch, a gun battle ensued, resulting in the deaths of four ATF special agents. A fire broke out, engulfing the compound, killing all 76 people inside.
