Fanny Nichols Stevens was born the daughter of Levi Jr. and Mehitable Barnard Nichols June 15, 1789 in Springfield, Vermont on the Miller farm. She was married to Major John Stevens (unknown marriage date).
They had at least 6 children according to Vermont Vital records and History book, Caroline, Mary, Adeline, John Henry, Simon Teacy or Tracy and Hiram Field. Simon was married to Martha Antle and is buried in Salisbury cemetery. There may have been at least one other son born because Adeline's obit says she had one brother left, Levi Nichols Stevens. She removed to Illinois around 1835 with her family.
