Zelma Wilcox, Lifelong Area Resident Dies
Zelma Snow Wilcox, 90, a Moscow resident all of her life, died early today at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home.
She was born May 28, 1888, in Moscow. She married Ross Abel in 1923, and he died three years later. In 1931 she married former state legislator Arthur Snow. He died in 1947.
Nine years later in 1956 Mrs. Wilcox married Ross Wilcox. He died in 1961.
She was a member of the Methodist Church, the Rebekah’s, the Order of the Eastern Star, the Grange, the Merry Go Round Club, the Sunnyside Circle of the Methodist Church, and was a charter member of the Senior Citizen Club.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Short’s Chapel with the rev. Eric Kallis officiating Burial will be in the Moscow Cemetery.
Survivors include a daughter-in-law Mrs. Harold Snow: three grandchildren and five nieces and nephews.
