Funeral services were held for Mrs. Minona Westberry Elliott, 74, who died suddenly early last Thursday morning at her home near Odum, friday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Old Bethel Baptist Church with Reverend WO Wainwright officiating. Burial was at the church cemetery with Harrison Funeral Directors in charge. She is survived by her husband Wiley D. Elliott of Odum; two daughters, Mrs. J. H. Brussell of St. Petersburg, Fla and Mrs. DM Waters of Waycross; six sons: Randall, Lloyd, Alvin and Hazel Jones of Odum. Lawton Jones of Bainbridge and colon Jones of Baxley; forty-five grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters: Mrs. MZM Roberson, Mrs. Zettie Yarborough and Mrs. Ralph reddish, all of Odum; and four brothers: Henry and Isham Westberry of Jesup, JB Westberry of Pulaski and Bertie Westberry of St. Petersburg, Florida. Pallbearers were grandsons: Winston, Albert, Joe, JC and Lester Jones and Melvin Waters. Honorary pallbearers were John O'Quinn, George Thompson, Bill Moreland, SJ Hires, Jordan B. Thompson, Dr. Dan Pearce, Terrell Sutton, BA Smith, Dr. Abercrombie, WL Carter, Brantley O'Quinn and Hymie Nathan.
