Katherine "Kat" Emerson Walker, age 92, of Sweetwater, passed away on Friday, December 31, 2021. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She was a faithful member of True Gospel Baptist Church in Sweetwater, she loved the Lord and her church family. Preceded in death by her husbands: Kenneth Emerson and Ben Walker, son: Keith Emerson, parents: Arthur and Pearl Lones, brothers: Carroll, James, Ross, Roy Lones. Survivors include her son and daughters-in-law: Mark and Karen Emerson, of Powell, Cathy Millsaps, of Sweetwater, grandchildren: Kendra and Lucas Geer, of Powell, Katie and Austin Collins of Oak Ridge, great grandson: Maverick Ray Geer, of Powell, sisters: June Abbott, Mable Louise Lowe (Baros), Evelyn Howard, brother and sister-in-law: Wesley and Barb Lones, several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at Kyker Funeral Homes, Sweetwater, from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. with the funeral service to follow 7:00 P.M. in Kyker's Chapel with Rev.
