Eutis "Chummy" Beecher, 88, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Thursday, January 6, 2022.
A celebration of his life will be held Monday, January 10, 2022, at 2:00 pm at Lizella Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Minton officiating. Burial will follow in Lizella Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 1:00 pm until the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lizella Baptist Church, 2950 S Lizella Road, Lizella, 31052.
Eutis was born in Graham, Georgia to the late Les Beecher and Lila Quinn Beecher|.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Helen McDaniel Beecher and twelve siblings.
He was retired from Armstrong World Industries and he worked for Riverside Ford as a parts salesman for over twenty years. Eutis was a member of Lizella Baptist Church and a former member of Bethesda Baptist Church. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.
Survivors include his children, Gregg (Ginger) Beecher and Gina Beecher Harris; and grandchildren, Daniel and Julian Beecher and Ethan and Caroline Harris and numerous nieces and nephews.
