MANSFIELD: Danny L. Miller Sr. passed away Friday, December 17, 2021. He was 78.
He was born March 23, 1943 in Madison, West Virginia to parents Mason & Reba (Johnson) Miller.
Danny worked at Mansfield Cement Flooring for 40 years as a finisher. He worked on many projects including Gund Arena, Cedar Point, Kings Island and MedCentral just to name a few.
In spare time, he loved to fish. If he wasn't fishing he would be found tinkering on lawn mowers or other engines. He was always working on multiple engines at any one time.
He is survived by his loving wife Barbara Miller whom he married March 6, 1964; son Dan Miller; siblings Samuel Miller, Autumn Holstine, Dianna Hall and William Miller.
In addition to his parents, Danny was preceded in death by siblings Emma Tadijanac, Teddy Miller, Ruth Boggs, Earl Miller, Katherine Miller and Frank Miller. His daughter Susan Setser also died just hours after he passed.
Although no formal service will be held in Danny's memory, He will be remembered at his daughter, Susan Setser's funeral service Thursday, December 30, 2021 in the Marion Avenue Snyder Funeral Home beginning at 1 pm. He was placed to rest in Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions in his honor can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
