A true optimist and a lover of life. Filled with joy in everything she did and found good in all people and willing to give love and happiness to all. Lived a life of service to others. We will miss her each and every day.


Beloved mother, wife, grandmother and friend, born in Cedar City, Utah to Horace William Maxwell and Ive Cox. The fourth of nine children. Married John W. Robertson, June 5, 1951 in the Saint George Temple, he died July 4, 1999. Married Earle Gordon Jackson, March 28, 2003, in the Jordan River Temple.



Zelda was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many capacities. Earle and Zelda fulfilled a mission to Edinburgh, Scotland from July 2005-December 2006. Proud grandmother to 45 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Zelda sent about 400 birthday cards each year to her many friends and relatives. Enjoyed singing with her siblings in rest homes and gatherings.



Zelda is survived by her husband Earle; children, Ron (Shelley) Robertson, John (Peggy) Robertson, Lloyd (Mindy) Robertson, Marleen (Phil) Cali, Janeil (Jim) Smith, Glen (Linda) Robertson. Stepchildren; Vicky (Richard) Peel, Jill (Evan) Smith, Kirk (Dorothy) Jackson, Patricia (Scott) Simister. Sisters and Brothers, Thell Maxwell, Jack (Clara) Maxwell, Ila Mae Swapp, Jim (Marion) Maxwell, Delwyn (Renee) Maxwell, Ted (Gayle) Maxwell, Margaret (David) Clair.



Preceded in death by her husband John Robertson, daughter Karolee Robertson, granddaughter Ali, brother Ken Maxwell and one great-grandson Dagen.



Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2007 at 2 pm at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 1950 E. 10600 S. in Sandy. Friends and Family may call at Friday evening from 6 to 8 pm and Saturday from 12:45 pm to 1:45 pm at the Mortuary.
