Swedish-American businessman. He grew up in Batavia, Illinois, and returned to Sweden with his family in 1962. He graduated from the Trade School of Stockholm as a Civilekonom. As of the 1990s he owned property at Matsalu Village in Estonia. Besides speaking several languages, among his unusual talents he could recite all 18 verses of Edgar Allan Poe's "The Raven" by heart and also without error play Beethoven's "Moonlight Sonata" on a piano, having learned it all by ear. He lived in a large and elegant 19th-century apartment on the Stockholm island of Kungsholmen (King's Isle) from 1977 until his death. His burial at Stora Tuna Church took place on June 16th 2020 which was the exact 80th anniversary of his parents' wedding, and the Ridderstedt Family grave was rearranged for the occasion with symmetry as well as new gravestones added. His goddaughter Michelle Romanovich played a violin piece, his best friend Kjell Ringius and brother's best friend Emil Eikner carried the urn, cousin Gunnar Ridderstedt (head of the greater family) laid a wreath and cousin's son Peter Bergman bore the FamSAC banner. His brother officiated. He was briefly married (1978-1979) to Eva Sterner and had no children.
