Born at Wilson's Beach, Campobello Island, NB on March 17, 1930; he was the son of the late Mayford and Alberta (Corey) Anthony.
Bert worked for Auto Tec (Battery & Electric) for over 47 years and retired as General Manager in 1995. He was an active member of Edith Avenue Baptist Church, a Trustee and member of the church choir. Bert and his wife Doreen enjoyed traveling and spent many summers at their camp in Erb's Cove. He was a member of the Balls Lake Fishing Club and enjoyed the outdoors.
Along with his parents and stepmother Flossie (Small), Bert was predeceased by his loving wife of 60 years , Doreen (Hunter) Anthony, son-in-law John Losier and brother-in-laws Donald Bilensky and Donald Hunter.
The family would like to thank the staff of Rocmaura for their great care over the past few months.
Interment to follow at Fernhill Cemetery.
