RINGLING -- Services for former Ringling resident Loretta C. Watkins, 66, Dover, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Church of Jesus Christ with the Rev. Orville White officiating. Interment will be at Dixie Cemetery.
Mrs. Watkins died April 12, 1998, in an Oklahoma City hospital. She was born Nov. 15, 1931, at Mountain Home to George T. and Belva R Baker Gaddis.
Reared at Ringling, she married W. H. "Bud" Watkins Dec. 14, 1946, at Gainesville, Texas, and lived in this area until 1964. They lived in Kingfisher and Chester before moving to Dover.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; four daughters, Vicki Meacham, Dover, Cyndy Tomberlin, Mooreland, Nancy Huffine, Oklahoma City, and Tammy Brock, Salemberg, N.C.; three sons, Richard, Alexandria, Va., Michael, Kingfisher, and Jimmy, Chester; two sisters, Pauline Patty, Ardmore, and Patricia Lively, Kingston; three brothers, Maurice Gaddis, Austin, Texas, G.T. Gaddis, Odessa, Texas, and Ronald, Stinnett, Texas; 16 grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and nine step-great-grandchildren.
Bearers will be Brian Allen, Jimmy Snodgrass, Steven Wilson, Jimmy Watkins, Ryan and Brendon Meacham.
Alexander Funeral Home will direct services.
