The 1930 census est. birth year as 1860 in PA, and the 1940 US census est. birth year 1863 VA. I have not found a 1870, 1880, or 1920 census enumeration for Samuel. I would like to see what his age is on the 1870 and 1880 US Census'; perhaps his age on these two census enumerations would help clarify his year of birth and place of birth?
