Dutch-Swedish nightclub owner. He moved to Sweden from the Netherlands in the 1960s having also lived in South America. He and Bertil Säfbom rebuilt an old printing business at street address Döbelnsgatan 3 to create Stockholm's first and secret members-only disco for people with homosexual interests. It opened as City Club in 1966. In 1970 they let the club go mixed for the general public as Club Mia with Swedish singer Mia Adolphson as its hostess, and they also opened Club Romanoff, an all-night disco, down the street at number 4. Due to unpleasant childhood experience he did not ever want to socialize with women until he met Mia Adolphson in 1969 and changed his attitude. After the businesses folded in the early 1970s he eventually began social work in Thailand and then had to change his surname from Dunk because of HIV discrimination. He was known as very private and quiet, except with close friends. He did not want a a funeral or grave.
