Jose T. Garcia, 54, of Chapman Ranch, died in a local hospital at 9:30 a.m. yesterday apparently after suffering a heart attack.
A native of Alice, he had lived most of his life in Nueces County. He had been a school bus driver in the Chapman Ranch area since 1954.
The Rosary will be recited at 8:30 p.m. today in the Angelus Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. tomorrow in Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with burial in Rose Hill Memorial Park.
Surviving are a brother, Candido Garcia, a sister, Mrs. Ricarda Garcia, both of Chapman Ranch.
