Avis J. Fraker, 87, Victor, passed away Friday, January 28, 2022 at the Keystone Care Center.
At Avis's direction, there will be no memorial service.
Avis Jean Rinehart was born April 23, 1934 in Hartford Twp., Iowa Co., Iowa to Clarence William and Merle Frances (Shedenhelm) Rinehart. She attended Ladora High School, playing for the Ladora Panthers until graduating in 1952.
On December 30, 1951, Avis married Gerald "Joe" Fraker at the Marengo Presbyterian Church.
The family farmed near Brooklyn for a time before moving to Ladora in 1961.
Avis spent the next thirty years working as a secretary for Leff Law Firm, Harned and McMeen Attorneys, Stover Abstract, PCA and Marengo Ready Mix.
Preceding her in death were her parents; siblings; her husband, "Joe"; sons, Jock and Greg; and daughter-in-law, Lynn Fraker.
