Merrill Heft, 78, of Columbus, died Friday at Mt.
Carmel East Hospital there.
A retired supervisor at D.C.S.C., Columbus, he was a member of St.
Peter’s Lutheran Church, Lancaster.
Survivors include his wife, Mary; two sons, Don, superintendent of
Pickerington Schools, and John, Richardson, Tex.; five
grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in the Schoedinger
East Chapel, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., Columbus; Rev. James H.
Heil officiating; burial in Forest Rose Cemetery, Lancaster
Friends may call Sunday, 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Family suggests contributions be made to the St. Peter’s Lutheran
Church.
