Lydia Hendricks Bybee, 95, passed away on Saturday, January 29th, 2022 at her home in Blanchard, Oklahoma.

She and her twin sister were born on May 18th, 1926 in Hinton, OK to Lewis and Mable (Kelly) Cornelius. Lydia grew up and lived most of her life in the Caddo County area. She married Coowee Hendricks on December 30, 1944. He preceded her in death on January 31, 1979. She later married Bill Bybee on October 31, 1982. He preceded her in death.

Lydia worked at Gold Kist Peanut Mill and also as a physical therapist at Silver Crest Nursing Home in Anadarko for many years. She loved to shop, especially for shoes and making sure her hair was just the right color and with curls. A touch of nail polish would make her ready to go out and do what she was best known for, making sure everyone knew about her Lord and Savior. She will be best remembered for her tireless work as a prayer warrior, always ministering to others with her Prayer Cloth Ministry and serving as a pastor with the Pentecostal Holiness Church. She enjoyed playing the piano and loved cooking for her family and friends. She loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren and her chickens.

She is survived by: 2 Sons: Alvin Hendricks and wife, Jose', of Newcastle, OK; Craig Hendricks and wife Marilyn, of Newcastle, OK; 3 Daughters: Donna Garrett, Blanchard, OK; Marilyn Nolan and husband, Rick, of Blanchard, OK; Carol Upton and husband Mike, of Blanchard, OK
