Musician. He began his musical career in 1987, playing for the band The Intelligenitals. In 1991, he founded the band The Royal Pendletons with the help of G. Thomas Oliver, Michael Hurtt, and J. Matthew Uhlman. In 1998, he briefly collaborated with Jay Reatard and Eric Oblivian in the band Bad Times. A year later, he started The King Louie One Man Band, where he sang and played guitar, cowbell, drums, and harmonica. After moving to Seattle, Washington, in 2000, he joined The Exploding Hearts. During his time with the group, he co-wrote and played the keyboards for their LP "Guitar Romantic." Later in his career, he and former Exploding Hearts bandmate Terry Six formed the duo Terry & Louie, which was active from 2013 to 2022.
