Obituary for Dolores Hill
Dolores Hill was born on November 19th, 1931 in Detroit, Michigan to Irene (Sutton) and Grady Springs. She was the 6th child of seven siblings. Dolores graduated from Eastern Oklahoma State College where she earned a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Psychology. Dolores worked for the Oklahoma Department of Veteran Affairs as a social worker, where she retired in 1997 after 17 years of service. Her church home was at Harmony Hill Church in Tuskahoma, Oklahoma.

Ms. Hill is survived by her daughter, Deborah Ann Sholokley of Sylmar, CA; three grandchildren, Lisa King of Los Angeles, Jennifer Corley of Chatsworth, and Jerisa Whitaker of Inglewood, CA; seven great grandchildren, Lori Oghenekohwo and Gabriel Oghenekohwo of Inglewood, Derick Norwood of Tacoma, WA, Jerrick Corley of Austin, TX, and Aalyiah Corley and Jennifer Corley of Chatsworth CA, Brejae Newsome, Daniel Bruton and Destiny Bruton of Inglewood, CA as well as five great great grandchildren, Loriel Whaley, Hallie Oghenekohwo, and Aeriel Smith of Inglewood, CA, Jillian and Malcom Norwood of Indianapolis, IA and a multitude of extended family and friends.

Dolores loved to read the bible and study the word daily. She enjoyed having bible study and loved to pray all the time with her family and friends. She also had a passion for art and nature. She loved to paint abstract art with watercolor and oil based painting. She enjoyed being involved with her community and church on a regular basis.

Her devotion to Jesus Christ allowed her to spread the truth about God's message. Dolores was a true follower of Jesus Christ and she demonstrated that in her daily activities such as bible study and attending church regularly. Everyone she knew would always love to see her beautiful smile. Dolores Hill will be missed.

Services will be on Friday, February 18th, 2022 at 2:00PM at McCarn Funeral Home Chapel in Talihina, Oklahoma with Bro. Rodney Tate officiating. Cremation services are being provided by McCarn Funeral Service of Talihina, Oklahoma.
