He was born in Knox County on Feb. 10, 1899, the son of William and Susan Vatchet Richardville. He was for many years a warehouseman for E. Bierhaus and Sons, retiring nine years ago. He was a member of the Old Cathedral parish, the Knights of Columbus.
Surviving is the widow, Mrs. Lydia Blubaum Richardville, whom he married May 20, 1925; two sons, Raymond R. Richardville of Vincennes, Marvin F. Richardville of Mission Viego, Calif.; four grandchildren; and two brothers, Arthur Richardville and Clarence Richardville, both of Vincennes.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Old Cathedral with burial in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the Duesterberg Chapel after 1 p.m. Thursday where the Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Thursday
