James Ray Barrow, 52, died on Sunday, February 13, 2022. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, February 19, 2022, in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel in Tulia with Rev. Edward Watters officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia.

A wake will be held at 7:00 pm Friday, February 18, 2022, at the funeral home chapel.

James was born on December 13, 1969, in Tulia to Roy and Maebel Barrow. He grew up and has lived all his life in Tulia. He graduated from Tulia High School. James loved to cook, loved to garden in his yard, loved his mom dearly and took care of her until she died in 2006, but most importantly he loved his kids and grandkids.

He is survived by his three children: Keosha Barrow of Tulia, Kirsten Barrow of Guymon, Oklahoma and James Barrow, Jr. of Guymon, Oklahoma, his siblings: Jerry Barrow of Corsicana, Eddie Barrow of Ft. Worth, Gerald Barrow of Tulia, Sammie Barrow of Casa Grande, Arizona, Annetta Barrow of Ft. Worth, Joycelyn Watters of Ft. Worth, Sharon Clayton of Ft. Worth and Connie Willis of Casa Grande, Arizona and his grandchildren: Ailani Martell, K'amari Martell and Dream Pando.
