Visiting at Ourso Funeral Home, White Castle, 6-10:00PM Monday, January 2. Visiting at the funeral home from 8-9:45AM Tuesday, January 3. Mass of Christian Burial at Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church at 10:00AM Tuesday, celebrated by Father Daniel Walsh. Interment in White Castle cemetery. Survived by four daughters: Mabel Templet, Vivian Gomez, Thelma LeGleu and Wilma Brown. Six sons: Alvin, Lennet, Whelman, Larry, Herman and Roy. Forty-five grandchildren, eighty-eight great-grandchildren, and thirty-two great, great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Felix Daigle; parents Alcide and Domatile Giroir Landry; three brothers, Alcide, Moise, and Maxine Landry; two sisters, Bertha Landry and Sophie Leblanc; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Marie Landry Daigle was born in Brusly St. Martin, Iberville Parish, Louisiana. She married Felix Joseph Daigle and they lived and raised their ten children on Cora Texas Sugar Plantation in White Castle.
