BECKLEY – Daniel Hale, 65, of Beckley, formerly of Pipestem, died Thursday, February 3, 2022 in Beckley. He was the son of the late Jack and Beulah Hale.

Daniel had gifts in singing, playing the piano, landscaping and flower arranging. He also enjoyed his pets, traveling, fishing and helping others. The last few years were very joyful. Daniel and his sister, Dolores, talked, cried together, praised and thanked the Lord for what He had done in both of their lives.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Frank and Julian Myers; his maternal grandparents, Nathan and Louise Hale; two sisters, Roxanna and Tabitha; one niece, Sandra Akers Knuckles and her infant son, Nicholas Knuckles; one nephew, Nicholas Akers; and several aunts, cousins and friends.

Survivors include one sister, Dolores Akers and her husband Rev. Joe Akers; one brother, Ronnie Honaker; several cousins; and an uncle. He will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved him.

A graveside service was conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 17, 2022 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, which included Psalms 121 and the song, Amazing Grace, as Daniel requested.
