John Ralph Amabile Beloved husband of Noreen O'Donnell and the late Margaret nee Laughlin; Loving father of Valerie, John Jr. (Lourdes), Richard (Michele), Michael (Patricia), Sheila (Nico) Berlen and Ralph; Devoted Grandpa of Michael Amabile, Gianna Amabile, John Amabile, Alyssa Amabile, Louie Amabile, Sophia Amabile, Franco Berlen, Rosella Berlen, Anthony Amabile and Aviana Amabile; Cherished son of Rose and the late Ralph Amabile; Dear brother of Frank (Eileen) Amabile and Linda (the late Thomas) Tucker; Fond uncle of many. John was proud to be an electrician, he enjoyed working with his hands and maintaining all his tools. He enjoyed landscaping and working around his home and cooking. John was a Superintendent for Shamrock Electric for 42 years. He took most pride in being a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 134 for 52 years. His pride and joy were his children and he was always there in good times and bad. He was always there to help them. He had many lifelong friends and was extremely loyal.

Visitation Wednesday 3:00 – 8:00 pm and Thursday 8:00 am until time of funeral, 9:30 am at The Oaks Funeral Home 1201 E. Irving Park Road (at Prospect), Itasca to Holy Ghost Church. Mass 10:00 am. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
